Yiyang Wu is a partner at Relman Colfax PLLC, a nationwide civil rights law firm located in Washington, DC. Yiyang’s litigation practice covers a wide variety of civil rights issues, including fair housing and lending, employment law, public accommodation, and disability rights. Yiyang has trained and written extensively on cutting-edge issues pertaining to the evolving body of law of harassment under the Fair Housing Act, including neighbor-on-neighbor and sexual harassment. She was recently part of the team that achieved a $400,000 settlement on behalf of eight women and a local fair housing organization in Oswego, New York who alleged that a local landlord engaged in a long-standing practice of demanding sexual favors as a condition of tenancy. Before joining Relman, Wu clerked for the Honorable Andre M. Davis of the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and for the Honorable Mary A. McLaughlin of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Wu obtained an undergraduate degree from Harvard College and a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Wu is an adjunct professor at Howard University School of Law and is active with the Asian Pacific American Bar Association Educational Fund.
